When rain graces the window, or sun rests its head, I seek your presence, where has it quietly fled? Never doubted you, that truth holds steadfast and strong, Yet restlessness stirs, what could be wrong all along? Darling, am I still the one you hold as your own, Forgive me if I falter, my heart yet unknown. I was ignorant of what my soul truly craved, But this much I know, the love I want is engraved. A love that offers all is holding nothing back, Where in your embrace, I am a child, off-the-track. I fear I'll bring you tears, unaware of my might, But the love that you seek shall endure, shining bright. Time's test won't falter it, like winds reaching the sky, A love basks in the sun, boundless, free, oh so high! FORBIDDEN THOUGHTS by Dreamy Poetess I don't know who you are. You knew nothing about me. Yet your words seem to strike my core, And now I yearn for more. There's an empty space within me, That space is calling out to you. But these thoughts are vile. They've lingered for a while. It's agonizing for me, To constantly dwell on you. If only someone could fill this void, These forbidden thoughts wouldn't ensue.

REGRETS by Dreamy Poetess As I lie awake and think of the past, Memories keep flashing on so fast. My mind is full of wonder as the mysteries unfold. That critical period doesn’t have to be retold. As I cross my fingers and pray for tomorrow, My heart still aches, for it is full of sorrow. And as time goes by they still haunt me. The things that remind me of what I should be. By then, I realized that it’s too late to go back, I keep repeating to myself all the things that I lack. If only I had them I wouldn’t fear to try, But those golden hours have gone by. Where could I’ve been if I’ve only known, Those things that the past had not shown? If I could only go back I won’t have to regret, Those past nine years and I won’t fret.
